The following paper studies the possibility of integrating Quality, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, and assesses the views of thirty-six companies established in Ireland and Galicia, Spain. The results of this survey are presented. The survey shows the actual situation of the different management systems in those companies, how they manage quality, environmental and occupational health and safety (OHS), the level of integration of their systems in cases where some kind of integration has been implemented, and their views on the area of integration. Also presented are the results of interviews with the managers in a number of these companies. This gives a idea of how companies face these topics and the different approaches to deal with different management systems, depending on factors such as the company sector, its size or the systems they have in place. From the analysis and the assessment of the results of these activities the need for an integrated system covering quality, environment and OH&S is reinforced, as well as the need for support processes and tools to implement it.
